AUTHOR Hope Barrett has been fascinated by words since kindergarten when she defied her teacher’s instructions to do Math and, instead, copied out the alphabet with slavish devotion.  Fortunately, her passion for words was rewarded with work as a reporter (Hong Kong Standard), stringer (Singapore Straits Times’ New Paper), scriptwriter (TVB “Eye On Hong Kong”), freelance contributor (Lifestyle Asia; Style Magazine; SCMP TV & Entertainment Times.)  The natural progression to all of this is of course to be Editor and Publisher, which started with the anthology Chinatoon Tales, and evolved into five years of megalomania as Editor/Publisher/Contributing Cartoonist of the comic anthology OH...
